The Basics
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Collaboration Administrator with expertise in Microsoft 365 (M365), SharePoint, Slack Enterprise Grid, Exchange Online, and Teams. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing our collaboration infrastructure to ensure seamless communication and collaboration across our organization.
This is a hybrid position, which will require in person attendance several days each week in one of the following locations: Addison, TX; Bellevue, WA; Durham, NC; Emeryville, CA; or Reston, VA.
What you'll do
Design and Implementation Collaboration Solutions Architect: Lead the design and implementation of collaboration solutions using M365, SharePoint, Slack Enterprise Grid, Exchange Online, and Teams to enhance productivity and communication within the organization. Integration: Ensure seamless integration of various collaboration tools and platforms, optimizing workflows and enhancing user experience. Customization: Customize and configure collaboration tools to meet the specific needs and requirements of the organization. Migration: Plan and execute migration projects from legacy systems to modern collaboration platforms, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Administration and Management System Administration: Oversee the administration and management of M365, SharePoint, Slack, Exchange Online, and Teams, ensuring optimal performance and availability. User Management: Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across collaboration platforms to ensure security and compliance. Monitoring and Maintenance: Implement monitoring and maintenance processes to proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring the reliability and stability of collaboration systems. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of collaboration system configurations, processes, and procedures. Security and Compliance Data Security: Implement and enforce security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Compliance: Ensure collaboration systems adhere to legal, regulatory, and internal compliance requirements. Incident Response: Participate in incident response efforts related to collaboration systems, including investigation, mitigation, and reporting of security incidents. Support and Training User Support: Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, resolving issues related to collaboration tools and platforms. Training: Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on the effective use of collaboration tools. Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement in collaboration solutions. Collaboration and Communication Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams, business units, and stakeholders to ensure alignment of collaboration solutions with business objectives. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with collaboration tool vendors and service providers, ensuring timely support and resolution of issues. Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT with at least 3 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing collaboration solutions. Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Teams Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator, or other relevant certifications are highly desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (M365) administration and configuration. In-depth knowledge of SharePoint architecture, customization, and administration. Experience with Slack Enterprise Grid administration and integration. Strong expertise in Exchange Online administration and management. Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Teams deployment, management, and troubleshooting.About Tanium

What you’ll get
The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $70,000 to $215,000. This range is an estimate for what Tanium will pay a new hire. The actual annual base salary offered may be adjusted based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, training, and experience.
