POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Collection Analyst position is primarily responsible for collection efforts with Lease customers and Third Party companies on repair work performed for our UTLX customers under Lease. Revenues are approximately $40MM annually.
Primary responsibilities and /or essential functions include, but are not limited to these critical functions:
Leading the customer collection process for all contract shop billing that is overdue.Resolving customer disputes and investigating issues with the proper contract shops.Assists in reducing the total DSO measurement of chargeable customer obligations, this includes using customer portals, email and/or direct phone contact with customers.Performing account and payment reconciliations as needed.Verifying that customer payments have been applied correctly for accurate account balance.Keep detailed and accurate notes of collection efforts.Enlist the efforts of account managers when necessary to accelerate the collection process.Participates in and actively supports quality projects and activities and Responsible Care initiatives to ensure that the Company achieves its goals.Works independently, Self-StarterManufacturing, Service or Distribution collection experience a plus.Able to navigate SharePoint preferred.Experience working with big and small customers. Third party customers.SKILLS/SPECIFICATIONS:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong analytical and data gathering skills.Knowledge and understanding of basic accounting principals and related account reporting including statements.Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, and MS Office.Proven experience of B2B collections for large corporate customers.Detail orientated with the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively, work with minimal supervision, and focus on task completion while minimizing errors.Ability to sit at a computer for an extended period of time.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/QUAILIFICATIONS:
Associates Degree in related area required – Bachelor’s degree preferred.Minimum of 5 years of B2B collections experience in a corporate environment.Prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX and AS400/Infinium preferred.Pay Range $50,000-$57,000
