Senior Commercial Finance Analyst
**What's the role?** As a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Publishing Operations (PubOps) division. This role offers the exciting opportunity to coordinate all reporting requirements and initiatives across PubOps and our States & Communities Business, providing crucial insights to drive strategic decision-making. You'll lead key initiatives focused on delivering commercial insights that enhance our competitive advantage, simplify operations, and ensure cost sustainability. Collaborating closely with business stakeholders and the PubOps finance team, you will identify, model, and develop execution initiatives aligned with our strategic direction, ultimately driving long-term profitability and growth. **Responsibilities:** + Support and consolidate the Strategic pipeline of initiatives across the Publishing Operations Division + Support the commercial teams on transformation programs and business cases being lead by the PubOps division + Provide key financial support for cross-departmental projects with multiple touchpoints + Be the coordinator for all reporting initiatives and requirements across the broad functions including the key contact for all FP&A requests + Support the planning and budgeting process across the PubOps division + Coordinate the Monthly consolidated Reporting for the PubOps division and the States & Communities business + Identify and develop a range of reporting simplification initiatives / process improvements across the PubOps finance team **Who are you?** + CA/CPA qualified + Analytically minded with process improvement experience + 3+ years experience in a similar role + Strong commercial acumen & professional accounting competency + Good interpersonal, teamwork and conflict resolution skills as well as sound + Planning and presentation skills + Strong analytical, communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills + Strategic thinker and self-starter with a commercial approach to business + Ability to prioritise multiple projects and deadlines **News Benefits** News Benefits is our way of saying thank you to our people for their valued contribution to News, our audiences, clients and communities.
