We’re looking for a results-driven sourcing professional to join our Purchasing team. As the Senior Commodity Buyer for Cooking and Ventilation Sourced Finished Goods (SFG), you will be responsible for developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and delivering cost and schedule accountability. This is a high-visibility role that will collaborate with internal partners across Product Management, Technology, and Quality while engaging globally with suppliers and affiliates.

**How You'll Create Possibilities**
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Develop and execute sourcing strategies for Cooking and Ventilation Sourced Finished Goods and global initiatives
+ Lead all sourcing metrics, including material cost take-out (MCTO) goals and New Product Introduction (NPI) program performance
+ Manage supplier relationships: issue RFQs, negotiate product costs and agreements, and monitor supplier performance
+ Represent sourcing in global NPI programs from concept to launch, ensuring on-time and cost-effective implementation
+ Use lean principles to drive continuous improvement and deliver cost-out across new and existing products
+ Partner with program managers to track and report cost and schedule progress to leadership
+ Align global sourcing strategies across GE Appliances and affiliate teams for consistency and impact
+ Drive resolution of supplier-related issues and business changes, ensuring alignment with program goals
**What You'll Bring to Our Team**
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree
+ 5 years of experience in sourcing and/or supply chain management
+ Proven success in managing international suppliers and negotiating agreements
+ Strong influence and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
+ Solid project management experience and organizational ability
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and operate with limited supervision
+ Proactive, solutions-focused approach with a collaborative mindset
+ Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business or a Technical field
+ 7+ years of sourcing or supply chain experience
+ Experience in appliance design and manufacturing
+ Familiarity with sourcing systems and global supply chain processes
+ Demonstrated success implementing global sourcing strategies
