Position Summary:

This is a full-time salaried position: Monday – Friday, 1st shift.

Our Somerset location is the corporate headquarters for Catalent Pharma Solutions. This location houses our state-of-the-art laboratory, clinical, commercial manufacturing plant for oral dose forms in addition to being the Center of Excellence for Highly Potent Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients. 

The Senior Communications Specialist, Corporate Communications role involves developing and executing strategic communication initiatives that reinforce our brand and corporate narrative, engage key audiences, and support Catalent’s business priorities. The ideal Senior Communications Specialist, Corporate Communications will have a proven track record in crafting clear, compelling communications across multiple channels and an ability to manage high-impact projects with both strategic understanding and strong tactical execution. The successful candidate will have excellent writing skills, strong interpersonal skills, and a keen understanding of corporate communications best practices.

The Role:

Content Development: Craft and edit high-quality content for various channels,
including press releases, articles, social media, executive communications, and
messaging.

Corporate Storytelling: Develop engaging stories that highlight the company’s
mission, values, products, and impact. Identify opportunities to communicate
business achievements, community involvement, and company culture to
enhance our brand image.

Employee Engagement: Work closely with the team and across the company to
create employee communications that inform, inspire, and connect employees.

Drive internal campaigns that support company culture, employee programs, and
engagement goals.

Channel management: Support channel publishing through management of
calendar softward and other internal/external publishing tool

Project Management: Use planning tools and tracking to ensure timely, effective
execution of content. Track project milestones, manage timelines, and measure
impact to refine communication strategies.

Brand and Reputation Management: Safeguard and enhance the company’s
reputation by aligning communications with brand guidelines and values.

Other duties as assigned.

The Candidate:

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field, required; advanced degree is a plus.

Requires at least five years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a similar field, ideally within a corporate or agency setting.

Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a demonstrated ability to
simplify complex topics.

Proficiency with digital communication tools, social media platforms, and content
management systems.

Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in
a fast-paced environment.

High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality.

Familiarity with measurement tools and analytics to assess communication
impact.

Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0-15 pounds.
