We have a great opportunity for a Senior Communications Specialist to join our team.

 

This role sits within the Communications & Brand team and will support communications that build International’s image and relationships with priority stakeholders – employees, dealers, customers, suppliers and partners. 

 

The ideal candidate will have an aptitude for taking initiative, solving problems and accommodating multiple deadlines. They will be an exemplary project manager and writer – both technical and creative – with an appetite for continual learning about all aspects of communications, business and the transportation industry.


This position is based in Lisle, Illinois. 

Responsibilities Researching, writing and editing communications materials for a variety of channels and audiences, both internal and external to InternationalBuilding awareness, understanding and buy-in for International’s brand narrativeAdvising internal clients on communications strategies for reaching target stakeholdersCollaborating with the executive management team and various departments to stay informed about company developments and trendsCoordinating leader involvement in communications and engagement eventsManaging employee newsletterMaintaining intranet home page and site contentDeveloping and tracking editorial calendarsAssisting with the development and implementation of new and existing communication channels as needed Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degreeAt least 2 years of communications experience

Master’s degree

OR

At least 4 years of communications experience Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
