Senior Communications Specialist

ICF is seeking a Senior Communications Specialist, to support a fast-paced digital communications program for a government program focusing on cybersecurity. Our team is helping to secure and protect the Nation’s critical infrastructure resilience, so come join us in our largest cybersecurity and resilience communications, digital and creative efforts to date.
The role will be hybrid, with work onsite in Arlington, VA.
What you will do:
Help the cybersecurity organization build a dynamic digital communications programFunction as an expert within the communications team to creatively and engagingly convey technical, program and office information to a wide audience across platforms, ranging from C-Suite level stakeholdersAuthor, draft, edit, and release a variety of communication deliverables and products that support the missionDraft, disseminate, manage and store talking points and success storiesAbility to work across the organization to collect information to develop external communication productsProvide input for recommendations on the best methods to communicate cyber subject matter for external communicationsMatrix to support work across the team as needed to help team members in a variety of task areas including external communications, web, and feedback/analyticsSocial Media Expertise: 25% of this role is dedicated to managing a government social media account, which includes:Building digital communication and campaign plans—Creating compelling content that aligns with the strategic goals of the organization and resonates with the target audiencePlatform management—Using Sprout Social for scheduling, posting, and monitoring content as well as analyzing data content across various platformsEngagement and interaction—Engaging with partner social media accounts, fostering relationships, and promoting collaborative communication efforts; responding thoughtfully and interacting with a variety of stakeholdersContent review coordination—Coordinating the review process for social media content, ensuring all posts are approved by the relevant stakeholders before publication while maintaining accuracy and complianceGraphics & visuals collaboration—Working closely with graphic designers to develop visually appealing images and infographics that support and enhance social media postsWhat you will need:
5 years of related experienceMust have active/current high-level government clearance, with SCI eligibilityU.S. citizenship required (required by federal government for the position)Additional skills:
Experience supporting senior-level executives, preferably in government, high technology industries or science-based industriesExperience in technology related communications with the ability to understand and articulate technology-driven solutions, preferredCreative, critical thinkers with an eye for details able to think strategically and critically evaluate effectiveness with analytical skillsPreferred:

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$87,069.00 - $148,017.00Virginia Client Office (VA88)
