Senior Community, Regional, and Specialty Bank- Training Team
**Company** Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago The Training and Development team within the Supervision and Regulation Department of The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago is seeking applications for a Bank Examiner position focused on supporting supervisory skill development in the department. This role is part of the Business Partnerships and Optimization division and will partner closely with the local supervisory business lines, system learning groups, and other training and development workstreams within the department. Given that this role will be developing and leading supervisory training efforts, recent supervisory experience is required, and Examiner Commissioning is preferred. **Your Responsibilities:** + Lead and administer the local Examiner Commissioning Program by coaching and supporting ECP candidates in program progression, on the job training alignment, and implementing new curricula for all ECP programs (LFI, CC and CBO). + Develops alternative case study assignments to be used for Examiner Commissioning Program on the job training. + Analyze supervisory skill gaps and develop workshops, case studies, and other training programs to address departmental development needs. + Cultivate relationships with leaders across the System to gather intelligence and help inform solutions to meet highest priority needs. + Maintain up-to-date knowledge applicable to assigned areas of learning content + Creates and provides focused and value-added reports, documents, and other correspondence to internal and external stakeholders. + Review evaluation feedback, paying particular attention to results for instructors and content improvement opportunities. + Builds relationships within the team, department and division; develops relationships with internal and external stakeholders such as other Reserve Banks, the Board of Governors and other regulatory agencies. + May participate and serve effectively as an Examiner-In-Charge (EIC) to ensure the successful completion of examinations or inspections including the assessment of the institution’s overall condition, risk management systems, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations; performs continuous monitoring. + Provides guidance, training and constructive feedback to less experienced staff. **Your Background:** + Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience + Seven plus years of direct work-related experience + Commission preferred; if you are not commissioned, you will be required to go through the Examiner Commissioning Program (ECP) and become commissioned + Possesses the ability to understand risk focused supervision and processes + Demonstrates advanced analytical and problem-solving skills + Demonstrates independent and critical thinking and decision-making abilities as well as have strong written and oral communication abilities + Ability to provide guidance and constructive feedback to less experienced staff and peers + Possesses strong teamwork skills and the ability to build and work collaboratively within and across work teams + Demonstrates the ability to effectively lead and influence a team without authority and to resolve moderately complex to complex issues + Demonstrates the ability to manage time and projects effectively by adjusting quickly to new and different priorities + Possesses a strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products + Possesses general business acumen **What we Offer:** + The expected starting salary range for this position is between $137,800 - $163,00 annually in addition to annual performance-based discretionary bonuses.
