We are looking for a seasoned Community Program Manager to join the team! Our Developer and Open Source Community members are such an important part of who we are as a company. We are looking to take that to another level by creating a Community where customers, developers, and partners can build trusted relationships, get questions answered, and give valuable insights to the company. We are looking for a rockstar to help build engagement and advocacy programs to help grow the community, uncover experts, scale growth, and more!  We're looking for a natural leader to join us on this amazing community journey.

What You'll Be Doing: Oversee the development of new and management of existing programs that support the community objectives Define the program strategy including mission, business goals, and audience  Evaluate platforms to execute the programs for scale Engage with customers to gain insights and co-innovate programs Create program guidelines and governance  Develop engagement strategies to drive program awareness and growth Work with local developer communities, meetup groups and other platforms to improve our brand presence and credibility, as required.  Plan meticulously, putting it down in writing to collaborate with stakeholders. Documenting, tracking and reporting within a Salesforce CRM system, which will be critical to your success. Interact extensively across all functional teams within DigitalOcean globally. Bringing a high-energy, positive mindset every day which embodies the DigitalOcean principles. Develop budgets and resourcing plans for the programs Meet with program stakeholders to discuss goals and status of the programs Provide regular reports on the effectiveness and status of the program What We’ll Expect From You: 3-5 years experience in Community and/or Program Management and 6-8 years of relevant work experience Excellent time management, facilitation, and organizational skills.  Passion about being a community and customer advocate.  Experience working with online community and advocacy platforms and tools. Proficient in driving various developer marketing campaigns through industry and customer marketing field events. Strong networking and communication skills (written/verbal/presentation) and ability to develop and maintain great stakeholder relationships. Awareness of emerging trends in the local market for cloud services and ability to create and capitalize on opportunities for DO. Detail-oriented and extremely organized with an ability to multi-task & prioritize tasks. Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred Be curious and ask questions Unafraid to try something new and take calculated risks Comfortable with Marketo and Salesforce platforms  Ideally, a proven track record in Developer/Start-up businesses.
