Senior Compensation Analyst

The Senior Compensation Analyst plays a crucial role in aligning job compensation with Servco’s targeted market pay standards and maintaining pay equity within the company’s performance-based pay philosophy. This individual will lead the processing of sales incentive compensation and drive various total rewards initiatives, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations governing compensation and pay practices. They will advise managers on compensation decisions that are consistent with company principles and methodologies. Additionally, this position will collaborate closely with other Human Resources departments to enhance the total rewards aspects of people initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Maintains competitive pay ranges for non-union positions in line with the company's market positioning philosophyConducts job evaluations and market pricing using third-party software to ensure alignment with market standardsAdministers variable compensation programs and oversees the annual merit and bonus processGuides managers to make appropriate pay decisions based on performance, budget, and the company’s compensation philosophy and methodologyPerforms comprehensive research and analysis, synthesizing data from diverse sources to provide actionable insights for pay and compensation program decisionsConducts internal pay audits and equity reviews to ensure fairness and alignment with company objectivesCollaborates closely with various departments within Human Resources to facilitate cross-functional people initiatives and ensure the effective integration of compensation components.Consistently seeks ways to improve, streamline, and/or automate processesParticipates in local, national, and industry surveys to gather data on compensation and pay practicesSupports various teams by providing compensation analysis and data models to enhance or develop people-centric business decisions

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalentMinimum five years of broad-based Human Resources work experience, preferably in a compensation roleCertified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferredProficient with Microsoft Office applicationsStrong understanding of Compensation or Total Rewards principles and practicesWorking knowledge of Human Resources principles and a solid grasp of State and Federal compensation regulationsFamiliarity with project management principlesAbility to model data using spreadsheets and/or database softwareExperience with HRIS and market pricing applicationsDetail-oriented problem solver who balances transactional decisions with big picture outcomesProficient in interacting with all levels of staff and managementAbility to translate data into actionable informationTeam player with strong influencing skills and proficiency in interacting with all levels of staff and managementAnalytical thinker aware of pay's psychological and emotional impacts, adaptable to changeClear communicator, able to explain unfamiliar concepts
