SummaryThis role provides support for all broad-based compensation programs throughout all countries in which Simplot operates. Responsible for maintaining various compensation-related data management systems and supports global compensation programs and initiatives. Provides support to HR and others for compensation-related inquiries and issues.
Key Responsibilities Provides support to Business HR and Talent for compensation inquiries and issues including job creation, pay equity, pay compliance, geographic differentials, pay ranges, cost of labor/living, and ad hoc market reviews/benchmarking requests. Develop and maintain a global salary structure and compensation guidelines. Provides support for the annual compensation cycle assisting with training, communication, and timely adherence to the process. Provides accrual estimates to Finance and conducts regular data audits to ensure accurate incentive plan assignment. Administers hourly Pay for Performance process. Provides support for variable pay programs. Ensures accuracy of plan information, summaries, schedules, and acknowledgements to facilitate distribution of materials in a timely manner. Proficient in data analysis, including the ability to utilize research and experience to support decision making. Participates in weekly job reviews with the Compensation Team, providing data and analysis of internal and external comparisons. Assists with data and research for the annual pay equity analysis. Participates in global, country, regional, and custom compensation surveys. Partners with HR to validate job matches. Maintains job catalog and associated market data for HR/Talent reference. Stays up to date on labor laws and other laws regulating compensation and provides analysis as requested to remain compliant. Maintains productive partnerships with other members of Total Rewards, Global Payroll team, HR, HR Solutions, Legal, and Finance, ensuring effective communication and adherence to established company policies and procedures as they relate to compensation. Lead audit efforts as necessary. Ability to be strategically flexible and adapt to company growth as change occurs in technology, the organization, and business units. Relevant Experience3+ years related experience and/or training
