Senior Compensation Analyst (Remote)

The Senior Compensation Analyst contributes and supports the administration of executive, exempt and non-exempt compensation programs for Office Depot; facilitates implementation of program, compensation structures, and system changes to support company strategic plan ensuring equitable compensation; and serves as an internal consultant to all levels of the organization. 

 

Designs and manages compensation projects from planning and research to implementation.  Conducts market pricing and internal equity studies and participates in surveys. Performs complex research, statistical analysis, and reporting.  Assists in the development of compensation policies and programs.  Administers annual compensation programs.  Interfaces and develops positive working relationships with internal customers.  Coordinates special projects as assigned.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 

Provide research and analytical support regarding the administration of executive, exempt and non-exempt salary administration including market comparisons, structure comparisons and Oracle HCM (mycloud) administration. Develop and revise human resource standard practice and procedures; monitor activities to ensure consistency and conformance to such standards and procedures; ensure activities adhere to company policies and procedures. Participate in job evaluation process reviewing job descriptions and making grade recommendations. Oracle HCM (mycloud) element set up and maintenance for compensation related tables; maintaining and run existing or create reports within the Oracle HCM. Conduct, respond to or participate in salary surveys. Provide technical expertise and advice with all levels within organization. Conduct internal and external studies of compensation trends. Develop and maintain human resources processes and analytical services to support customers. Monthly, quarterly or annually bonus processing administration as outlined in program guidelines Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

 

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Financial Analysis, or Management or equivalent experience Minimum 4 years experience in related field Progressively responsible compensation work experience in global or retail environment.  CCP Certification preferred Knowledge of Oracle HCM (mycloud) system functionality and process reengineering
