The role
SoFi/Galileo is looking for an experienced, bilingual (Spanish/English) Senior Compensation Business Partner with expertise in the Latin America region to join our Global Compensation team.
In this role, you will resolve complex compensation problems and challenges for the Galileo business and the LATAM region. The ideal candidate will be passionate about developing and delivering meaningful compensation and reward programs, guiding stakeholders to make informed compensation decisions, and building knowledge and trust in our compensation programs. This role will partner closely and consult with the People Business Partners, Senior Leaders, recruiters, finance, and other key stakeholders.
What you’ll do:
+ Consulting: Leverage deep compensation expertise and consulting skills to collaborate closely with People Team stakeholders and senior business leadership to develop effective solutions for compensation challenges and translate compensation philosophies into actionable strategies. Build relationships that result in trusted partnerships.
+ Analysis & Data Modeling: Effectively distill and present complex analysis to partners and stakeholders in a clear, concise, and insightful manner to enable informed decision-making.
+ Education & Communication: Create and distribute clear and impactful communication materials that enhance understanding and highlight the value of our compensation programs. Take an active role in educating internal People partners, business leadership, and employees to enable objective decision-making and facilitate meaningful compensation conversations.
+ Project Management: Lead compensation projects of significant impact that span multiple organizations. Specifically, manage all LATAM mandatory increases, agreements, and local regulations to ensure our compensation programs and structures remain compliant and competitive in each country.
What You'll Need:
+ University Degree (advanced degree a plus) in a relevant field.
+ 8+ years of experience in broad-based compensation design, administration, and business partnership, with in-depth experience in Argentina and other LATAM countries.
+ Deep knowledge of local compensation practices and regulations in Latin America.
+ Demonstrated outstanding execution and operational ability, with a track record of successfully implementing compensation programs.
+ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in both English and Spanish with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner for an executive audience.
+ Strong team player with a positive "can-do" attitude, adept at building and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders including compensation, finance, people business partners, and business leaders.
+ Proven ability to think strategically and holistically across business units and regions, aligning compensation strategies with overall business objectives.
+ Strong analytical skills, with the ability to gather and analyze data to inform compensation decisions and recommendations.
