We are seeking a talented individual to join our Career Consulting team at Mercer. This role can be based in any of our offices in Canada. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

What can you expect?
Mercer's Career Consulting business helps our clients around the world engage their talent to drive business performance. Career consultants partner with board members, top-level executives, and HR leaders to optimize business performance through strategies that enable organizations to better manage, reward, and engage their people.
You will join a national team of 100 passionate consultants who have a wealth of expertise in employee and executive rewards, employee communication, talent strategy and workforce analytics.
You will work with a premier client base consisting of large complex Canadian and global organizations.
You will be able to tap into the expertise across Mercer’s global network and work with a broad range of colleagues and industry experts.
You will support companies in the design and execution of performance measurement and reward strategies that reinforce business objectives.
You will work with organizations to identify the financial and people factors that drive value.
You will design financial performance measurement and target-setting systems to support these reward and compensation programs.
We will count on you to:
Structure, direct, review, and interpret analyses performed by project teams.
Structure and/or review client deliverables.
Provide consulting services to Compensation Committees and/or senior management on a variety of remuneration issues, including competitiveness of pay and benefits, performance measurement, and governance and regulatory implications.
Provide consulting services on broader Human Capital issues.
Generate revenue through development of new client relationships and build and maintain strong client relationships.
Provide leadership ,mentoring and guidance to team members.
What you need to have:
Bachelor’s degree required.
At least 8+ years’ relevant work experience in compensation.
Excellent analytical, writing, and presentation skills.
Strong financial and business acumen.
Knowledge of HR business processes.
Strong finance and accounting skills.
Proven project management skills and creative problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
