At OpenText, unique and interesting work happens every day.  If you are passionate and ready to make a significant impact, look no further.  We have an exciting opportunity as the Senior Compensation Program Manager.  In collaboration with the compensation team, you will oversee global compensation programs to ensure alignment and be a partner to business leaders.   

 

As a subject matter expert, you will provide analytical and consultative support in the design, implementation and administration of compensation programs which are aligned to the global rewards strategy and corporate compensation philosophy.

 


WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
•    Act as the program owner of one or more global compensation programs below, managing the day-to-day operation of the programs assigned.
•    Global compensation survey management, identifying best practices and compensation trends.
•    The annual salary range development process, ensuring market competitiveness through benchmark analysis.
•    Audit, improvement and maintenance of OpenText job architecture and career framework, ensuring consistent application throughout HR life cycle and business processes.
•    Management of the annual merit review process including the development of budgets and administration of the global program.  Provide lead support in the development of the merit planning tool used during the annual review process. Provide white glove support to assigned functions during the review cycle.
•    Executive compensation, including executive compensation benchmarking, equity award tracking, development of executive offers, etc.
•    Lead on local/regional compensation issues such as auxiliary pay practices, any pay disclosure & transparency requirement, as well as adhering to local regulations.
•    Establish relationships with regional HR leads, as well as functional HR leads in consulting and providing analysis and recommendations to HR Business Partners on compensation initiatives such as employee promotions and/or transfers on a global scale.
•    Contribute to the development and maintenance of tools and processes which enhance the effectiveness of compensation plans, support, and administration.

 


WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
•    8+ years relevant experience in design, analysis, communication and administration of compensation programs
•    Demonstrated success in managing compensation programs within consulting firms and/or large, complex corporate environments  
•    Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field. CCP preferred
•    Strong project management and data analytics skills, particularly proficient with Microsoft Excel.
•    Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while maintaining deadlines, meeting budget and customer service goals 
•    Ability to establish and grow exceptional partnerships with the HR, finance, legal and business teams

 

Work Arrangement: This role will be office-based out of either Richmond Hill, ON or Waterloo, ON offices.  Employees need to be in the office on OpenText corporate days (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) to drive maximum coordination and collaboration.
