Overview As part of the Gallagher Global Brokerage compensation team, the Senior Compensation Specialist (Bilingual Spanish) will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and summarizing human capital data and compensation data to make people-related decisions, with a specific focus on employee populations in Canada, Latin America, and the Caribbean (CLC). This role will assist in the development, consultation, and implementation of compensation programs and tools to enhance our ability to attract, retain, motivate and develop our employees. How you'll make an impact Provides complex analysis and research relating business metrics with compensation, and educates client groups on the use of compensation data and new compensation programs. Assists in the design of base, bonus, sales compensation, retention awards, and other compensation initiatives Provides tools to help HR and business leaders better handle annual compensation processes including salary increases, bonus, equity grants, and compensation statements, among others Primary responsibility relates to the support of HR and managers in our rapidly growing Canada, Latin American, and Caribbean countries, and may provide support elsewhere in the Americas or around the globe as assigned Understands applicable compensation markets and regulations, to provide support aligned with each region and country Partners with the GGB and corporate HR compensation teams to develop action plans and create communication plans for the launch of new compensation processes Completes job evaluations using external and internal compensation data Provides support in moderate to complex compensation projects that involve highly analytical skills Identifies ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness of recurring compensation processes May assist in the development and distribution of training, presentation, and other materials for various compensation program rollouts Assists as link between Canada, Latin American, and Caribbean regions with Corporate to work as a one team and aligned with Gallagher policies Develops reports based on data analytics to give support and guidance for HR leaders with accurate information About You Required: BA + minimum 5 years related experience. Strong communication and presentation skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Power Point, and advanced knowledge of Excel. Ability to prepare clear, concise, and complete analysis, proposals, presentations, reports and other written materials.
