Job Description:

We’re looking for a Senior Compliance Analyst  (L4) to join our team at MBPS. In this role, you will report to the Compliance Manager and will be expected to perform analysis of testing results and provide feedback to resolve discrepancies. In addition, you are expected to oversee the review and certification of compliance policies and operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Negative News Searches: Conduct negative news searches and reviews on key service providers, including sub-advisers.

Quarterly Reporting: Prepare quarterly board reporting materials related to sub-advisers.

Data Management: Save trial balances, portfolio holdings, broker statements, and Diligence Vault reports. Complete the monthly Fund of Fund concentration comparison, spreadsheets, and run duration reports using PowerBI.

Compliance Support: Support the Investment Compliance team in researching and resolving daily warnings/alerts in the CRD system for selected post-trade automated compliance tests.

Annual Certifications: Initiate the annual process of distributing compliance policies and desktop procedures certifications for review and certification by subject matter experts within each Business Unit.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree holder

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.

Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in the financial services industry / investment advisory industry.

Working knowledge of investments, asset management, and mutual fund business.

Prior knowledge of (US/CA/EMEA) compliance rules and regulations a plus
