Job Description:
We’re looking for a Senior Compliance Analyst (L4) to join our team at MBPS. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support to the Market Conduct Compliance Insurance Examination Team. The role will entail coordinating communications to external distribution partners, helping with Insurance Examination set up, posting review evidence collection, and drafting closing reports as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
Effectively manage the Insurance Examiners shared Outlook mailbox.
Communicate directly with contracted firms, and advisors for compliance policies and procedures as escalated during the contracting process.
Manage escalations to the Insurance Examination team.
Prepare distributor pre-work for business practice reviews.
Manage collection of distributor action plans, outstanding policies and post review evidence as needed.
Assist Manager with integration of new compliance requirements into program documents.
Participation in Market Conduct, Compliance projects as needed.
Qualifications:
Conceptual understanding of the corporate compliance methodology and program objectives.
Ability to communicate effectively to internal and external business partners.
Experience in insurance industry is a definite advantage.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook), Sharepoint sites and validating license information on Provincial Regulatory websites.
Bilingualism (French) is an asset.
