In this role, you have the opportunity to
• Play a critical role in the designing, executing, and monitoring of all compliance initiatives in China Compliance Program.
• Be involved in spotting the compliance gap in different business model and product portfolio, finding practical solutions through strong analysis and balance weighing.
• Develop your overall capability in project management to handling all compliance challenges and dilemmas, through close collaboration with top management team and key stakeholders in Greater China.
You are responsible for
• Playing a key role in the supporting of China Compliance Program to ensure its success;
• Playing a key role in the management of compliance matters, in order to drive adherence to Greater China’s compliance requirements and to minimize Company compliance risk in its operations.
• Supporting the General Counsel to review and upgrade the relevant process in the business to address the relevant risks.
• Implementing and maintaining up-to-date compliance related policies, procedures, guidance and other related documents to address needs of Greater China business unit.
• Developing training plan, materials and delivering trainings to senior management, business managers and all employees on compliance and other relevant topics.
• Involving and guiding process in the investigation or follow up actions based on compliance monitoring outcome or those reported via hotline/internal channels including interviewing with internal employees and/or outside vendors related to Greater China activities.
You are a part of
legal team. You will base in Shanghai, report to Head of Legal, Greater China.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, excellent academic record, master in law is a plus;
• Minimum 10 years of working experience in compliance domain; a mixture of legal experience is a plus;
• Excellent technical compliance skills, business acumen and analytical/strategic capabilities
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate easily to all levels within and across the organization, as well as with external stakeholders and other parties
• Self-starter, ability to work under substantial pressure and quickly adapt to novel and challenging compliance matters.
• Candidates shall have strong self-motivation and eagerness to learn new things and take new challenges
• Excellent oral and written communications skills. Fluent in Mandarin and English
