Responsibilities

Hamilton Company is looking for a Senior Compliance Engineer will work within the Electrical Engineering Department and will report to the Director of Electrical Engineering.

Responsibilities include:

Serve as an expert for UL/CSA/IEC 61010, EN 61326 and FCC part 15 as they apply to instrument design, testing, and manufacture.Review hardware designs for compliance to UL/CSA/IEC 61010, EN 61326 and FCC part 15.Conduct tests for official UL/CSA/IEC 61010 TRF to ensure compliance to EN 61326 and FCC part 15.Represent company in UL/CSA/IEC 61010 audits by NRTL to ensure compliance to audit findings.Write and maintain safety and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing procedures.Mentor and train junior engineers. Qualifications Ability to communicate complex ideas verbally and in writing.Solid technical knowledge and understanding of product/process design.Proficiency in report writing, analysis, and compliance procedures.Thorough understanding of regulatory frameworks.Ability to communicate and build partnerships with outside agencies.  Education/Experience Bachelor of science degree in Electrical Engineering, Master's of science preferred.Minimum of eight years of compliance experience with UL/CSA/IEC 61010 (or similar standard), EN 61326 and FCC part 15 (Relevant experience equates to eight years of experience with a bachelor's degree; five years of experience with a master's degree.)
