Our Second Line Compliance team are hiring for a Senior Compliance Manager to partner with our Business:

 

You'll be responsible for:

Designing, documenting, implementing, overseeing and maintaining compliance policies, procedures, processes and tools and support the development and delivery of training and communication to raise awareness and understanding of requirements. Review and assess risks, processes, controls, monitoring and assurance arrangements, challenge as necessary and escalate and report on issues as necessary, including to Group Compliance. Collaborate with Risk & Compliance community to implement the Compliance Framework including compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, codes and organisational standards and report to GM Compliance, CRCO, Group and Governance and Oversight Committees. Supporting Line 1 Risk and Compliance community in driving accountability in the identification and management of compliance risk, including compliance and breach assessment, reporting, management, and remediation. Perform Line 2 Compliance review in the assessment of Risk Culture Maturity, Risk and Control Assessments and the Risk Management Declaration. Providing guidance and advice to the Line 1 Risk and Compliance community to design controls, monitoring their effectiveness and operational performance and accurately and transparently escalate matters of concern. Engaging internal stakeholders as required to drive the cost functional implementation of the compliance Framework including compliance policies and procedures.

 

About you:

experienced within the compliance risk or audit management role acquired in a complex matrix financial service organisation demonstrated experience in process and management control design combined with the expert ability to understand operational and compliance risk inherent or emerging in a business area. demonstrated experience in assessing the level of risk and developing and executing plans to mitigate risk.  developed analytical skills, demonstrating the capability to analyse and interpret complex information from a broad range of sources (locally and internationally) end the present findings in a clear and compelling manner. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact, and influence, positively influencing risk behaviours throughout AAL.
