Position SummaryThe Senior Compliance Policy Analyst plays a vital role in advancing WCM’s Policy Office and supporting its oversight in the development, management, review, and enhancement of policies. Reporting directly to the Director of Policy, this position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and analytical abilities to ensure policies are clear, compliant with healthcare regulatory requirements, and standardized. The role involves managing multi-faceted policy projects, collaborating with policyowners, and communicating policy developments and updates to stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities Serves as an institutional resource for policy development, management and implementation. Manages the Policy Office’s annual workplan and supports its implementation institution-wide. Oversees multiple departmental policy workplans and implementation efforts concurrently. Facilitates and manages key policy stakeholder engagement throughout the policy development cycle (i.e., draft, review, approval, publication, etc.) Management processes to ensure compliance with institutional standards, policy workplans and policy review timelines. Maintains an internal system to track and monitor the status of all policies, ensuring proper version control and adherence to policy review timelines. Manages and maintains the repository of published policies, ensuring proper organization and archiving of all policies. Reviews policy drafts to ensure adherence to institutional standards and substantive material is consistent and accurate. Prepares final policy drafts for publication by ensuring standardization requirements are met. Supports the Policy Office and policy owners in policy development by conducting research, analyzing regulatory requirements, and advising on policy language. Coordinate stakeholder feedback, guiding the creation of supporting policy documents, and other activities to facilitate the development of clear, compliant and consistent policies. Conduct periodic audits or assessments evaluate policy compliance to identify potential areas for improvement. Administrative duties to support the Director of Policy in day-to-day operations including, but not limited to: preparation of presentation and meeting materials, document management, responding to general inquiries, and managing the Policy Office inbox. Supports the Director of Policy in analyzing industry regulations, standards, and organizational needs to continuously enhance the policy program. Education Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., law, business, compliance, public policy, or healthcare administration). An advanced degree is highly preferred. Experience 4 to 5 years of experience in healthcare administration or knowledge with healthcare regulation is highly desirable. 2 to 3 years of experience with policy development or compliance management in a healthcare setting is an advantage. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong analytical abilities to conduct research, interpret regulatory requirements, and make informed decisions for policy development. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to draft policy language clearly and effectively collaborate with various stakeholders. Strong organizational skills to maintain a systematic and efficient repository of policies, manage version control, and coordinate website management tasks. Basic project management skills to help coordinate the policy inventory, review, and approval processes. Ability to manage complex projects with a high degree of accuracy and focus on meeting deadlines. Strong commitment to ensuring accuracy, compliance, and clarity in all policy documents. A team player with a collaborative approach to policy development and stakeholder engagement. Capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of work quality and efficiency. Licenses and Certifications Professional certification in a compliance related field, such as health care compliance, CHC is preferred. Working Conditions/Physical Demands
