The Opportunity

This is a dynamic role that has the potential to touch on all areas of compliance and will change to meet the evolving needs of AIA and the regulatory environment.

A key collaborator to proactively address the compliance needs and where required address areas that need development to prevent these from reoccurring through the provision of quality compliance advice and guidance to the Line 1 teams, appropriate policies, monitoring and training and awareness.

To do this successfully you will:

Develop and Maintain Compliance Policies Standards and Guidance materials.Support the incident management and remediation processes and identify thematic issues and insights.Identify areas of improvement to simplify process and use technology across risk and compliance activities.Preparation of quality action focussed compliance reports for relevant Committee’s, Boards and Group Office.Provide support to team members across Risk and Compliance, providing coaching and assistance to further the development of the Enterprise Risk and Compliance team.Coordination with the relevant collaborators, adequate oversight and timely and accurate submission of the LCCC Annual Data Compliance Program and Own Motion Inquiries and reporting to ASIC as required.

Successful applications will demonstrate:

Shown practical experience in a compliance related role.Experience in implementing compliance requirements and policies.Change management and/or project management skills to be able to embed change across the AIA business.Knowledge of relevant regulatory and industry requirements across Life Insurance, Health Insurance, and Financial Services.Strong, communication, engagement, influencing and negotiating skills.
