The Senior Compliance Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing compliance training programs to ensure that employees are aware of, and adhere to, local rules, regulations, and internal policies. This role involves collaborating with various departments to identify training needs, designing engaging training content, and evaluating the effectiveness of training initiatives to promote a culture of compliance within the organization. This individual will be responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of the organization's compliance policies and procedures. This role ensures that all business operations comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal standards. The specialist will work closely with various departments to assess risks, design effective compliance frameworks, and promote a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Training Development:
Design and develop comprehensive compliance training programs tailored to various employee levels and roles.Create engaging training materials, including presentations, e-learning modules, manuals, and handouts.Policy Development, Communication, and Training:
Draft, review, and revise compliance policies and procedures in alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.Collaborate with legal, regulatory, and business teams to ensure policies are comprehensive and effective.Assist in the rollout of new compliance policies and procedures across the organization.Develop and deliver training programs for employees to ensure understanding and adherence to compliance policies.Training Implementation:
Schedule and deliver compliance training sessions, workshops, and seminars.Facilitate live training sessions and provide necessary resources to employees.Business Collaboration:
Collaborate with department heads to identify compliance training needs based on industry regulations, organizational policies, and employee feedback.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather input and feedback on compliance initiatives.Conduct surveys and assessments to measure training effectiveness and areas for improvement.Serve as a point of contact for compliance-related inquiries and provide guidance on policy implementation.Regulatory Updates:
Stay informed about changes in regulations and compliance standards relevant to the organization.Update training materials and programs in response to new laws, regulations, or internal policies.Evaluate the effectiveness of compliance policies and procedures regularly and recommend enhancements.Continuous Improvement:
Evaluate training programs regularly to ensure relevance, effectiveness, and engagement.Gather feedback from participants and incorporate suggestions into future training.Evaluate the effectiveness of compliance policies and procedures regularly and recommend enhancements.Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory developments, and best practices in compliance.Record Keeping and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of training attendance, completion rates, and feedback.Prepare regular reports on training outcomes and compliance metrics for management review.Maintain organized records of all compliance policies, procedures, and corresponding training materials.Support and Guidance:
Serve as a resource for employees regarding compliance issues and best practices.Provide ongoing support to departments in implementing compliance initiatives.QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements include:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.Proven experience in training, compliance, or related roles (3+ years preferred).Proven experience in policy development.Strong understanding of compliance regulations and standards within the industry.Strong analytical, writing, communication, and presentation skills.Ability to engage and motivate a diverse audience.Proficiency in instructional design and e-learning platforms (e.g., LMS).Preferred Skills:
Certification in Compliance and Ethics (CCE) or related credential.Experience with multimedia design tools.Experience with risk methodologies.Knowledge of adult learning principles and training methodologies.Strong project management skills.TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED

ADDITIONAL DETAILS
This role is hybrid between Princeton, NJ and remote. Office days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
