Able to create technical drawing based on assembly necessities with correct RPS definition, GD&T and tolerance for plastic components.Creation and understanding for bill of material.Experience with product qualification (preferably lighting products).Knowledge of mechanical design techniques with regards of manufacturability (CATIA V5 preferable).Basic understanding for PCBs and wire harnesses for LEDs application.Clarifying and defining design requirements with the customer in the form of specified project descriptions, analyzing design expenditure.Working out design drafts on the basis of CAD data provided by the customer with regard to device design, assemblies and parts, taking design for assembly / design for manufacturing aspects into account.Drawing up design solutions taking functional, material-related, technical production and economical aspects into account; drawing up selected designs for detailing.Arranging for tests (mechanical, mechatronic, photometric, thermal) on sample devices, integration of results in the design.
