The Senior Conservation Officers sit under the Council’s Directorate for Place and within the Conservation, Design, Ecology & Trees team in Planning. The Senior Conservation Officer is required to work alongside other specialist teams, including planning, planning policy, regeneration & town centres, biodiversity, landscape and arboriculture.
As the Council’s Senior Conservation Officer, you will provide authoritative heritage advice, guidance and support to colleagues, customers and stakeholders. You will provide pre application advice and guidance on heritage issues, and case manage and respond to Listed Building consultations and DM consultations affecting the historic environment from the planning teams.
