Senior Construction Accountant

Growing construction company in Bozeman, MT is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Accountant to join the team.  This company is known for delivering high-quality civil, residential, and commercial construction services with a commitment to professionalism, safety, and craftsmanship. 

Accountant will be responsible for overseeing all general ledger activities for multiple entities to include commercial, concrete, and civil. This position will be integral to ensuring all companies maintain GAAP compliance.  The duties will also encompass financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.

Responsibilities:

Complete responsibility for execution of month-end-close processes for five companies Perform a weekly eight week cash flow forecast for all companies Ensure all potential liabilities are fully accrued for Assist in the preparation of financial reports to support strategic decision-making Ad hoc data retrievals from QuickBooks and/or Sage Assist in an annual GAAP audit Fixed asset analysis and tagging program Annual budget and three year plan preparation and analysis Work with CPA firm to prepare the end of year tax filings and preparation Ensure that revenue recognition complies with percent of completion accounting

Education & Experience:
