Senior Construction Manager
What You Will Do:

As Gannett Fleming continues to expand our client and project portfolio in the West Region, we are excited to identify an experienced Senior Construction Manager throughout the greater Seattle Area. 

With little or no supervision, acts as Owner Agent to provide construction management and inspection services for a wide variety of projects that may include water and wastewater facilities, dams and earth science projects, transportation and transit facilities, and general building projects. Performs assignments that may not be clearly defined and requires the development of construction documents, procedures, and criteria. Performs oversight of multiple projects simultaneously.

Principal Responsibilities and essential functions

Conducts and documents project meetings with clients. Manages construction field personnel, including teaming partners. Responds to solicitations and prepares proposals and presentations. Prepares construction contracts and cost estimates. Prepares and monitors project schedules and budgets. Prepares and issues reports and correspondence. Approves quantities for measurement and payment purposes. Approves construction payment applications. Negotiates and approves construction change orders. Resolves technical issues. Performs constructability reviews and value engineering studies. Leads Risk Management assessments. Prepares and monitors Quality Control and Assurance Plans. Develops Standard Operating Procedures.Education | Experience:

Education and Licensing requirements

Bachelor’s in Engineering or Construction Management preferred. PE or CCM preferred

Training, Skills, Knowledge and/or experience 

10+ years’ experience. Experience with Primavera P6 preferred. 10-hour OSHA Safety course. Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Good oral and written communication skills. Must possess a driver’s license to fulfill the essential functions of the position.

Additional Notes

Other duties may be assigned as necessary. Mix of field and office work environments. May be required to work in confined spaces. Travel to work sites for an extended period of time may be required. Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to independently travel and be physically present in the office or at a client site.
