Senior Construction Manager Bilfinger Industrial Services Inc. known as a leading provider of complex, comprehensive industrial services is seeking an Senior Construction Manager at ourKansas City, Kansaslocation. This position requires a self-motivated individual to perform the detailed planning and scheduling of construction work and ensure that the project is constructed safely and in accordance with all design, budget, and schedule requirements. The Senior Construction Manager has the ultimate responsibility for the successful execution (cost, schedule, quality) of all projects within their defined area. The Senior Construction Manager directs and manages all cost control, project prioritization, schedule and reporting activities of the project and reports directly to the Construction Site Manager. Responsibilities include: • Responsible for the direct supervision of team of Construction Managers. • This individual will be responsible for the detailed planning and scheduling of the mechanical work to which they are assigned and that of the teams they are managed • Integrate multiple engineering information packages and develop construction plans and other deliverables for the field and supervision. • Reviewing engineering information packages for constructability and completeness. • Ensures that proper safety procedures are specified and documented on all planned jobs. • Develops a plan for completion of all work orders, including an estimate of the labor required and a listing of the parts or materials needed. • Specify tools and special equipment necessary for completion of the work order. • Developing detailed construction plans and other deliverables for the field and supervision. • Work with Procurement, Engineering and outside suppliers as required to order all parts and materials required to complete any given task and lists them in the work order plan. • Participates in planning detailed shutdown and turnaround work. • Orderly flow of the work order system ensuring all work requested by the customer is completed on a timely basis as indicated by the work priority. • Work closely with other Construction Managers to ensure job is running as a unit toward a common goal. • Direct interface with Owner, Engineers & Consultants. • Supervise and coordinate all construction functions. • Support weekly construction work schedule meetings. • Maintain liaison with engineering. • Acquire a working knowledge of the entire engineering design for the project. • Supply data to support the overall Master Schedule with all parties input. • Assign WO’s to planners, assign PO’s to contractors, review WO estimates and coordinate PO close-outs. • Responsible for Construction Cost Management including change orders for jobs they are responsible for. • Extensive experience managing and coordinating multiple projects as well as managing personnel, subcontractors, and vendors • Very experienced in producing detailed fixed price estimates. • Extensive knowledge of construction means and methods • Possess effective negotiating skills Please reach out to Jason Alan Jaure ( jason.jaure@bilfinger.com ) in case of any questions related to this position.
