Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Construction Manager- Power to join our team. In this role you will be Responsible for Construction Engineering for SAPL Infrastructure Partner. Responsible and accountable for ensuring that all work is in full coordination with Project. C is providing strategic direction on a city-wide basis. Reports directly to the Project Director.
“What You’ll Be Doing”
Promotes safety and safe systems of work
Manage the development and implementation of construction plans
Manage the Inspection and testing materials used in Electrical/ Power facilities and systems construction operations
Manage the construction of permanent and temporary power supply systems/ facilities
Liaise/ collaborate with the Saudi Electric Company (SEC) while overseeing the full lifecycle of critical projects.
Knowledge/competent with HV, MV, ELV installations
Monitoring and evaluating construction processes to ensure compliance with regulations
Collaborating with the operations team to implement improvements in quality control procedures
Leads planning and management of the program and ensures operational consistency across the program.
Problem solving skills in relation to construction on site and wider activities of the project
Coordinate with QIC and all existing contractors, and future planned procurement of major contractors.
Implement agreed strategies, through delivery of PMP’s and other key documents and approaches in accordance with program requirements and accepted best practice.
Lead the implementation and application of advanced principles, theories, and concepts, ensuring compliance and consistency across the delivery teams.
Contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas.
Facilitates forming partnerships with key stakeholders and organizations impacted by the program.
Assigns work to employees, oversees, and tracks the completion of work assignments.
Interviews and selects personnel for assignment as required.
Maintains clear and concise work standards and goals; provides training and development; completes performance evaluations, conducts employee counselling, takes corrective action as necessary.
Ensures adherence to all corporate, contractual, ethics and safety standards, policies, and procedures.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Participates in development of job safety practices.

"What Required Skills You’ll Bring”
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
15 years of progressive experience in managing power systems or related infrastructure projects.
Proven expertise in collaborating with utility companies, particularly SEC
Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing diverse, cross-functional teams.
Strong understanding of power systems design, construction, commissioning, and regulatory compliance.
Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale budgets and deliver projects on time.
Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
“What Desired Skills You’ll Bring”
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputable institution
Minimum 15 years’ experience in power infrastructure projects, with at least 10 years in the Middle East
Prior experience in construction management of electrical/ power system/ facilities projects, including temporary and permanent power required
Target driven
Mentoring and guiding less experienced members of the team
Experience of managing a large group of multi-disciplinary engineers, designers, and technical support personnel
Thorough knowledge of local regulations, building codes, and engineering standards
Demonstrated ability to manage large, complex engineering projects
Proven ability for directing work involving complex technical situations and working under pressure
Possess a thorough knowledge of current technology and the capabilities and efficiencies of specific engineering software for use in completing engineering assignments
Demonstrable ability to work effectively with diverse teams of people, from contractors to local government officials
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Proven experience in managing large-scale projects with a value of $50M or more
