Senior Construction Project Manager

We’re seeking an experienced and collaborative Senior Construction Project Manager to join our team in Tampa, FL. You’ll be leading a multidiscipline team to complete tasks within established schedules, budgets as well as utilizing your experience to execute project strategies. You’ll work to help drive performance, efficiency, and overall project delivery improvements at all stages including construction, and handover while engaging the client, architect of record, general contractor, among others. Responsibilities include: * Oversees and monitors the contractual performance of the Contractors/Design Builders assigned to projects * Oversees and supervises the activities of assigned Project Engineers and Inspectors/Construction Coordinators * Provides construction project management, technical and administrative oversight of the assigned construction projects * Monitors and assesses construction progress measurement/evaluation * Oversees project schedules and cost control during construction * Monitors construction quality and, in coordination with QA staff, recommends to the client appropriate corrective actions for observed non-conformance * Maintains accurate and timely documentation of project status and key activities through daily reports and job site photos * Reviews and makes appropriate recommendations on construction change proposals * Reviews contractor/design builder schedules of values for monthly invoicing * Prepares/provides input for daily, weekly and monthly status reports * Provides timely input for and participates in monthly project reviews with client * Attends and participates in regular owner/architect/contractor (OAC) meetings * Provides input and analysis as needed to support client claims management * Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management * 20+ years of construction experience * Familiar with numerous project delivery methods. * Experience working with a broad range of project types and sizes with diverse private and public sector clients. * Strong technical capability in construction, operations, and maintenance of a range of project types. * Experience managing subconsultants in support of program and project delivery. * Demonstrated experience in managing large, collaborative, multi-party teams and assessing the competency requirements of the team. * Broad technical experience, with an ability to see the full picture with projects and portfolio * Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment * Strong focus on quality and ability to maintain good client relationships * Willing and able to work Monday-Friday at the Tampa Airport project office Ideally, you’ll also have * Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Registered Architect (R.A.) or Project Management Professional (P.M.P.)
