Essential Responsibilities include the following. You will reporting to a Manager.

Collaborate with development teams and operation engineering teams to establish a full development lifecycleCollaborate with users, development teams, and operation engineering teams to solve our requirements and meet high operational standards of system reliabilityWork with other technology teams to extract data from several data sourcesImprove ongoing reporting processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for customersDive deep to resolve problems at their root, looking for failure patterns and suggesting fixesArchitect financial solutions with a mindset of using all technologies that are at your disposalBuild software to extend system, application, or tool functionality to improve business processes and meet end user needs while working within the system architectureResolve operational issues, perform detailed root cause analysis, respond to suggestions for enhancements, and create detailed recommendations for solutions to problems that impact code owned by another groupIdentify process improvement opportunities to inspire creativityMay work with users or Business Analysts to determine requirements and design for systemsConducts all business to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the companyEnsure the accuracy of the deliverables through quality assurance practiceCreate and/or update technical and user documentation of systems

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s Degree7+ years of relevant IBM Cognos TM1/Planning Analytics experience including system configuration, data modeling, model building, and developing reports or dashboards with TM1TM1 technical skills: Dimension & cube development, Rules and TurboIntegrator coding, security setup, report development, and ongoing maintenance of existing models. Experience using source code control with TM1Some experience with IBM Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW).TM1 soft skills: gathering requirements for new projects & provide analysis of existing functionality where needed.Experience writing SQL queries and stored procedures using Microsoft SQL ServerCorporate finance experience exhibiting knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting functions and processesAbility to work in a team-oriented environmentAbility to apply technical skills in order to implement high-quality solutions for system enhancements or problem correctionsAbility to apply logical methods to solve difficult problems and create effective solutions through accurate and appropriate analysisAbility to apply understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral formAdvanced MX Excel (can write advanced macros) skillsAbility to sit for majority of 8-hour workday; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision.
