What You’ll Be Doing
As a member of CIBC’s End Point Print and Digital Output team, you will play a key role in designing, enhancing, and supporting enterprise print and digital output services. You will provide technical guidance, establish standards, and apply best practices across the design, build, configuration, and maintenance phases of projects. By developing hardware and software roadmaps and recommending innovative solutions, you will help ensure alignment with organizational goals and long-term strategies.
In your role as a Senior Consultant, End Point Print and Digital Output, you will ensure stable and reliable production and non-production environments, proactively mitigating risks while adhering to established controls, standards, and policies. Leveraging your expertise, you will provide technical leadership, assess business needs, and collaborate with management, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver effective, scalable solutions.
Additionally, you will foster team growth by mentoring colleagues and facilitating discussions to address complex requirements, ensuring solutions align with project objectives and organizational priorities.

How You’ll Succeed
Leadership & Communication: Provide technical leadership during the design, build, and maintenance of major print technologies and automation tools in a multi-platform environment.
Evaluate, select, and implement new products and techniques to enhance print solutions.Estimate implementation costs, assess options, and support business/technology proposals.Collaborate with senior leaders, balancing business needs with technology capabilities and security concerns to deliver practical, achievable recommendations.Solution Design: Develop client-focused solutions that address business requirements
Prepare and validate solution design documents, including scope clarification, requirements, and quality assurance.Collaborate with Service Designers and Architecture teams to shape future state roadmaps and architecture.Governance: Proactively contribute to governance initiatives in the development of company policies, audit requirements etc.
Provide technical or business guidance to clients within and outside your own department.Engineering: Deliver automation expertise using enterprise print tools.
Define standards, roadmaps, and infrastructure designs for hardware/software.Conduct system usage studies and recommend improvements.Design, test, and evaluate Print Cloud-based solutions.Ensure environment integrity by analyzing risks and test plans.Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture for Print solution evolution.Manage vendor and client relationships to meet service expectations.Support and implement changes in production and non-production environments following change management policies.Who You Are
You can demonstrate 5+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and supporting serverless print technologies, with strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure components (security, network, firewalls, servers, Active Directory, SQL, Azure, etc.).Methodologies & Standards: Proficient in Waterfall and Agile delivery, EDF, ITIL, and security, data privacy, and disaster recovery standards.Technical Skills: Expertise in GitHub, JIRA, Confluence, Dynatrace, and scripting with PowerShell/Python. Experience with reporting, data analysis, and BI tools is a plus.Core Responsibilities: Monitor, harden, and deliver Enterprise Print Services; design and implement infrastructure solutions aligned with business needs and industry best practices.Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Skilled in troubleshooting technical issues, managing multiple priorities, and applying critical thinking to solve complex problems.Communication & Collaboration: Strong written and verbal communication skills, fostering constructive interpersonal relationships across cross-functional teams.
