This position will be part of a team focused on supporting clients in he South Region for infrastructure engineering. This role involves building strategic relationships with stakeholders, bsuiness development, maintaining relationships with current clientel, and creating relationships with new clientele. Additionally, this role includes mentoring junior engineers and team members, ensuring successful project outcomes, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Responsibilities Solve complex engineering and infrastructure challenges while delivering value and maximizing growth for clients.Collaborate with clients to understand their infrastructure needs and goals, offering tailored recommendations and solutions.Lead, guide, and mentor a team of engineers, providing technical support and promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.Assist in the design and implementation of infrastructure solutions, ensuring alignment with client objectives.Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets while ensuring successful and timely delivery of projects.Provide leadership on technical aspects of projects, ensuring that designs, plans, and specifications meet quality and safety standards.Identify innovative solutions to improve infrastructure performance and sustainability. Qualifications BA/BS degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.Minimum of five 20+ years of relevant experience.Proven leadership abilities and experience mentoring team members.Strong technical knowledge in infrastructure engineering for DOT projects.Proficient in the use of engineering software.Excellent project management skills, including organizing, scheduling, and coordinating multiple projects.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative.Proven ability to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.Experience managing teams and supervising engineering staff.Previous experience in a related infrastructure engineering role, with a focus on asset management or sustainability.Travel:
Willingness to travel up to 40%, with overnight travel as required.Physical Qualifications:
Ability to sit for extended periods.Capable of operating standard office equipment.Occasional ability to reach, bend, climb, and/or balance.Ability to frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds
