What you’ll be doing
As a Senior Consultant, Privileged Identity & Access Operations, you will be focused on vaulting Privileged access across the organization. You will be responsible for consulting on potential risks, identifying solutions to these risks as well as implementing remediation's in both technology and process. Utilizing your relationship building skills, you will partner with line of business and technology teams and help them proactively identify potential areas for oversight and present recommendations that are practical and achievable.
The primary focus of this role will be identifying and operationalizing privileged ID solutions for end users. This will involve facilitating and implementing complex requirements on various intakes and projects related to identity and access; driving continuous improvement initiatives to improve day to day operations and close gaps; ensuring new or changing processes can be operationalized seamlessly into business as usual operations, regardless of source of change; and reporting on current state of our centralized processes via various metrics and reporting.

How you’ll succeed
Consulting - Review and interpret requirements documentation, architecture diagrams and solution designs to help determine the feasibility of a project and its impact to CIBC’s Identity and Access Operations centralized programs. Assess business needs against potential risks and provide your recommendations to enhance our information security landscape. Knowledge of Identity and Access Management approaches and concepts, tools, techniques and roles and responsibilities in providing guidance to stakeholders within and outside own area will be a key area of focus.
Risk Management: The emphasis of the role is on process, audit, reporting, risk and information security management, technology and operations throughout CIBC and group of companies (Mellon Bank, FCIB, ATPW, PCF, Intria, Wood Gundy, Wholesale Banking, etc.). Monitor regulatory environment for impact on security programs and initiatives. Execute remediation plans related to IAM deficiencies and ensure compliance to standards and controls associated with the domain.
Process Improvement: This role provides an opportunity to streamline, standardize and create processes, implement and customize Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions based on client needs. This involves primarily, building and managing the requirements of the larger team to ensure we can meet our mandate to deliver a strong identity and access program at CIBC.
Delivery and Execution – You will help us build, configure and deploy the solutions and enhancements, with an emphasis on ensuring day to day operations can be executed flawlessly and seamlessly. Planning, coordinating and implementing changes into day to day BAU activities will also be an important requirement of this position.
Communication - Build and present documentation to executive management aimed at communicating technical challenges, architecture designs, potential risks and providing solutions via articulated recommendations. Provide feedback to and participate in the design and implementation of identity and access controls across the organization. Research, design, and implement identity and access related processes and operationalize these processes across the group.
Who you are
You can demonstrate experience in Information Security, specifically in the Identity & Access management domain. Additional experience in other areas of Information Security is also invaluable to success in this role. A CISSP or CCSP certification is an asset.
You have strong knowledge of a broad set of technology solutions specifically CyberArk; a minimum of 3 years of experience is an asset. HashiCorp experience is an asset
