In this role, you will designing and implementing automation and cloud native-based solutions as well as support sales teams in the pre-sales stages by assisting them in offering the best of our solutions to our customers. Your Role
Develop and maintain automation solutions for infrastructure and application provisioning.Develop piece of codes using Bash, PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages.Create Design documentation using Enterprise Architecture Frameworks.Develop endpoint integration leveraging APIs.Design and collaborate with customer teams to implement automation solutions.Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC).Design and deploy cloud native infrastructure with agnostic kubernetes platforms.
What You Will Bring
4+ years of hands-on experience in designing and deploying technology infrastructure for customers.2+ years of hands-on experience in a DevOps or sysadmin role with a focus on virtualization, containers and automation.Proficiency in virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, or similar. Nutanix AHV/NCM experience is a plus.Experience in Windows and Linux operating systems, including system administration, automation, and troubleshooting.Experience implementing and managing microservices platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes (e.g. Rancher, Openshift, etc.).Fair Proficiency on scripting with PowerShell, Bash, Python, Java, or similar programming languages.Fair Understanding of any public cloud provider such as AWS, Azure or GCP. Entry-level certification is as plus.Fair Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or others.Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.Fair Experience in monitoring tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana) and Logging (e.g.: ELK Stack) to ensure application health and performance.Fair Understanding of how to work with REST APIs.Ability to think strategically and build an architecture focusing on customers needs.Ability to work both independently and in a team collaboratively.Excellent oral and written skills in Spanish and upper intermediate proficiency in English (writing/reading & listening/speaking).
About the Team
The Nutanix consulting team is diverse, flexible, self-taught and multidisciplinary. We work on a wide range of information technology projects, exploring the universe of architecture and deployment of solutions that Nutanix offers its customers, from hyperconvergence through database management solutions, End-User-Computing, reaching Kubernetes platform projects and IT automation.
We are a team used to influence trends and guide our customers so that they can explore the potential of our solutions for their business. We start our journey supporting in pre-sales stages and later, guided by a project manager, we work end-to-end to successfully design and implement the solution for our customers.
Our time is mostly dedicated to be 70% involved in projects with customers, majority of which are remote, although we may have to travel occasionally to serve customers onsite for 10% to 30% of our time.
This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.
