Our Team and Impact

 

As a Complex Solutions Consultant at TELUS, you'll lead the development of integrated enterprise solutions across our full technology stack, including Wireline, Data, Voice, Applications, Security, and Wireless services.
In this pre-sales role, you'll quarterback complex bids and drive deal pursuit processes, combining business acumen with strategic thinking to solve unique customer challenges. Success in this position comes from building strong relationships, leading matrix teams effectively, and enabling stakeholders to achieve ambitious business goals.
The role requires exceptional execution skills, strategic problem-solving abilities, and proven experience in managing complex enterprise solutions. You'll work directly with customers and internal teams to develop tailored solutions that create meaningful business impact.

 

What you’ll do

 

Lead complex solution development for enterprise clients ($1M+ deals)  Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to analyze business requirements Develop winning sales strategies aligned with customer needs and TELUS objectives Provide solution development leadership within corporate governance frameworks Drive opportunity pursuit plans using industry and customer insights Ensure profitable solutions through strategic business consulting

 

 

 

What You Bring

 

Strong persuasion and negotiation skills, with ability to construct convincing business cases Excellent communication skills, including ability to engage effectively with C-suite executives  Leadership experience in cross-functional teams  Advanced presentation and project management abilities  Strategic thinking with proven track record in tactical execution  Ability to quickly grasp and apply technical concepts  Proficiency in competitive analysis and articulating TELUS' market position  Competence with MS Office and Google Suite  Business or technology-related university degree or equivalent  3-5 years experience in consulting, selling, or marketing complex telecom/IT solutions  Functional to fully bilingual in French and English (read, write, speak)

 

Great-to-haves

 

Technical knowledge of telecommunication services and solutions  Financial and risk analysis, business case development skills Understanding of basic legal concepts  Knowledge/certification in ITIL principles  Knowledge/certification in PMP or related project management skills  Capacity to obtain a Government of Canada security clearance

 

Advanced knowledge of English is required, because you will, most of the time, interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.), interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.), as part of this position's main responsibilities, given its national scope.
