ERM Digital Services is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our global sustainability company. This role is within our APAC business unit and will be based in Japan, preferably in Tokyo. POSITION SUMMARY:
In this client-facing role, you will support business leaders in the successful development of digital strategies, roadmaps, technical architecture and design for Environment, Health, Safety and Sustainability (EHS&S) solutions. As a Digital Consultant, you will provide objective, independent advice on digital strategies and solution design including the use of off-the-shelf or custom-built technologies. Your knowledge of the market presence of these technologies is important to support the solution and business architecture proposals and designs. You will demonstrate strong business and technology architecture skills along with a deep understanding of global EHS&S business capabilities, regulatory requirements, and best practices. (Training will be provided.)
The successful candidate will have effective client communication skills and a passion for sustainability and technology, with an educational background in Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Theoretical Business. Ideally, you will have successfully completed university courses that provided exposure to some or all the following:

Learn and present software solutions for ESG Reporting and Health & Safety.Evaluate and recommend digital strategies for EHS&S business functions including delivery roadmaps, blueprints, solution design and detailed design.Contribute to design and delivery of information technology systems, in particular ESG Reporting solutions aligned to business and strategic objectives.Conduct stakeholder engagement, discovery, and solution design workshops.Gather requirements and represent them as business architecture and in business process model formats.Provide analysis of blueprints to assist with project planning and task creation, Risk, and Information Security assessments, return on investment and impact analysis.Provide mentoring, training, and leadership to other team members as a senior leader.Provide technical assurance and guidance to the functional and technical consultant teams who perform the implementation and delivery project phases of EHS&S solutions.Introduce new and innovative approaches in technological advancements.Serve as a power user of collaborative technology, and champion new and innovative business solutions within established and emerging technical architectures (i.e. Sphera, Enablon, SAP, Cority, Intelex, etc.)REQUIREMENTS:
MBA or Bachelor’s degree in science or in a technical subject such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Environmental Science, Natural or Biological Sciences or Management Information SystemsConsulting industry preferred.Entry level university graduate through 4-8 years of relevant work experience in an EHS&S or technology related field.Experience in developing digital strategies, developing architecture, and delivering digital transformations.Experience in training, mentoring and leading other team members.Cloud and platforms experienceEHS and operational excellence initiative exposureBusiness process modeling and user journey documentationDesign thinking, complex problem solving and analytical reasoning abilities.Microsoft Office proficiencyStrong and structured communication skills Cross-industry experienceEHS&S software experience including, but not limited to: EHS & S Sphera, Enablon, SAP or similar experience, a plus but not required.Diversified information technology experience and sound knowledge of EHS software, methodologies, domains, and technology a plus but not required.
