Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Consultant to join our team, specializing in the implementation, optimization, and support of PowerPlan applications. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of PowerPlan's modules and capabilities, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Implementation & Configuration:
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of PowerPlan solutions, including requirements gathering, system design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Customize PowerPlan modules (e.g., Fixed Asset Management, Lease Accounting, Budgeting & Forecasting) to align with client-specific needs.
2. Client Engagement:
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them in aligning PowerPlan functionalities with their business objectives.
- Facilitate workshops and ensure user adoption of the application.
3. Support & Optimization:
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PowerPlan functionalities, integrations, and performance.
- Identify opportunities to optimize and enhance existing PowerPlan implementations.
4. Project Management:
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met.
- Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders.
5. Technical Expertise:
- Work closely with technical teams to design integrations with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, EAM, BI tools).
- Stay updated on PowerPlan product releases and enhancements to provide innovative solutions to clients.
6. Documentation & Reporting:
- Develop comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, user guides, and training materials.
- Provide regular reports and insights on project progress and system performance.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience working with PowerPlan applications, including implementation, support, and optimization.
- Strong understanding of financial and asset management processes.
- Hands-on experience with PowerPlan modules such as Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Tax, and Regulatory Reporting.
- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with system integrations (APIs, middleware).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients and teams.
- Experience in utilities, energy, or asset-intensive industries is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in PowerPlan or related technologies.
- Experience with cloud-based PowerPlan solutions.
- Knowledge of enterprise systems like SAP, Oracle, or Workday.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
- Good English written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in the Energy & Utilities sector is a plus
- ERP Applications such as PeopleSoft or SAP, Hyperion, OneStream or similar applications knowledge and exposure is an added advantage.
