What You Will Do:
Responsible for supporting and leading business analysis workstreams associated to technology initiatives, such as detailing use cases and supporting project management activities such as risk management, change control, and reporting. In collaboration with an integrated project team, responsible for providing direct support to client and end users. Will incorporate business analysis techniques to support the delivery of technical consulting projects.
Key activities include the following:
Work with clients to capture and translate high level functional, technical and performance requirements into detailed acceptance criteria or epics / user stories / use cases to address business needs.
Plan and facilitate business requirements gathering sessions with clients
Support the development of work plans that reflect project scope and client expectations.
Develop and maintain requirements documentation and traceability in support of projects.
Produce comprehensive and quality work products from start to finish (from
brainstorming and framework development to final edits and end-product)
Interview client leaders and staff, and analyze qualitative and quantitative information to develop themes, identify issues and root causes, and develop recommendations.
Support development of training materials, job aids, and helpful resources to promote end user adoption and project success.
Conduct quality reviews of technical project documentation and provide suggestions for refinement.
Conceptualize and execute data collection, analysis, and reporting in support of data calls.
Develop presentations and brief clients with clear, actionable insights.
What You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree
4 years of work experience in business analysis or product management
Experience leading and facilitating meetings, trainings, requirements gathering, and workshops with clients/stakeholders
Working knowledge of various project management methodologies (e.g., Agile) and best practices
Experience supporting delivery of project deliverables/consulting engagements and providing support and mentorship to junior team members
Experience with performance measurement and/or evaluation: collecting qualitative and quantitative data, performing data analysis, and developing impactful data visualizations
Experience developing reports for and briefing senior executives
Advanced proficiency with MS Office tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Business and/or technical writing experience
What Would Be Nice To Have:
3+ year of consulting experience
Master’s degree
PMP, Scrum Master, or performance measurement certification
Experience supporting state, local, territorial, or tribal organizations
Experience with public health data systems and tools
Experience supporting projects related to public health
Proficiency with Power BI or other dashboarding/visualization tools
Strong oral and written communication skills
