Your role
In the role of a Senior Consultant, you will be working as the WMS SME all the way from functional consulting and problem definition to solution design, development and deployment. As a WMS domain expert, you will be the key contributor to architecture and design discussions and reviews. You will contribute to business pursuit initiatives, client training, in-house capability building. You will be interfacing with clients IT and Business teams to discuss on the technical and functional solution topics, process definitions, improvement ideas and managing client interactions. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding WMS solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Required:
• Experience of Leading the WMS projects as Functional and Technical Solution Lead
• Experience of working on the Manhattan WMS application like Classic (WMOS), Platform (SCPP) & Active versions
• Experience of working on the WCS solutions like Knapp, DAI etc.
• Experience in PL/SQL, Unix Scripting, and preferable experience in SCI Cognos Reporting.
• Experience of working in various inbound and outbound functionalities of Manhattan WMS application like Classic (WMOS), Platform (SCPP) & active versions
• Experience in implementing WMS application and rolling them across distribution centres.
• Experience in Manhattan WMS application Classic (WMOS), Platform (SCPP) & Active versions configurations.
• Experience of QA execution for - WMS & WCS Bug Fix Testing/Functional Testing/SIT/Performance Testing/Regression & Smoke Testing
• Experience in MHE integrations and Support.
• Experience of working in onsite-offshore model and be able to co-ordinate with offshore teams as well.
• Experience in trouble shooting skills and propose permanent solutions for the WMS operational and application issues.
• Good to have experience of managing WMS maintenance support projects.
Role and Responsibilities:
• As part of job role, you would be required to get to the heart of customer issues, diagnose problem areas and provide the solutions.
• You will conduct solution demonstrations, POC/Proof of Technology workshops and prepare effort estimates as per the solution and functional requirements.
• You will participate in the requirement gathering workshops and translate those into the solution definitions.
• To be able to work on the WMS configurations and provide the required guidance to the team.
• Work on the process flows and interface definition, define system interface mappings and transformations.
• Define the test strategy, test plan and test case definition for the WMS implementations, migrations and enhancement projects.
• Manage and execute the WMS projects E2E as the solution lead starting from Design phase until the production deployment and hypercare.
