Senior Consultant (Multiple Positions Available)

 

Work as Solution Architect.

Perform migration strategy planning of Microsoft SQL databases with spearheading design and development.

Design and implement robust database administration solutions including resource management, security, backup and recovery, performance monitoring and tuning, data management and capacity planning, planning and implementing failover between database instances.

Implement architecture changes for the projects supporting Microsoft SQL databases, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) technologies, and complex application functionalities.

Administer and control activities related to data planning and repository requirements, data dictionaries, and warehousing requirements to develop and design database strategies and information systems monitoring.

Design and implement scripts for instance monitoring, maintenance, backup, cloning utilizing T-SQL, SSIS, Reporting Services, and Analysis Services.

Develop deployment automation to provide a fully functional database system that supports the clients’ environment. Build, migrate, and test different T-SQL scripts, ETL packages, and SSIS reports and integrations, setup multi-level network environments using MS SQL databases.

Conduct integration with OnPremise applications or other platforms. Develop templates or scripts to automate everyday developer or operations functions. Monitor and maintain multiple SQL data processing jobs on different environments based on client requirements, utilizing MS SQL scripts and SQL jobs methodologies and practices to build a better database support application.

Research and evaluate software, system upgrades and enhancements, and provide technical recommendations.

Collaborate with leadership to create and promote a data-driven culture.

May be assigned to and provide products/ support to specific industry groups such as automotive, banking and finance, healthcare, insurance, and information technology.

 

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related.

 

Five (5) years of any occupation with Information Technology experience, or related.

 

Five (5) years of required IT, or related experience must include: Microsoft Structured Query Language (MS SQL); SQL Database Server; SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS); SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS); and ASP.NET.

 

ROVING/TELECOMMUTING EMPLOYEE: Reports to company headquarters in Plano, TX. Will work at various unknown client sites throughout the U.S. for up to 100% of the time. Must be willing to travel anywhere in the U.S. and may be assigned to work at client sites across the U.S. Can work remotely or telecommute.

 

EOE. 8AM to 5PM. M-F. 40 hrs./wk.  Salary: $163,966 - $164,966
