Principal responsibilities

This will be a technical role to develop and operate a suite of applications shared by Wholesale IT Regional team to enhance effectiveness and efficiency of operating productions services.

Additionally, it is expected that SRE engineer will become an operation expert and be able to guide and assist devops teams in managing their production services. This will include sharing support knowledge, participating in incident reviews, setting standards, service improvement to improve the service resilience.

The role will require operating in the context of the global team, supporting 24-hours business.

Additionally, SRE engineer will be expected to understand the business context of Power Platform technology platform, participate in incident management.

Work closely with team leads and members of Coe team, architects and production services professionals in the wider organization.Responsible for automating the continuous integration / continuous delivery within a DevOps Product/Service team driving a culture of continuous improvement.Develop, configure and operate observability tooling kit including various in-house monitoring and alerting tools.Develop and operate the configuration management and release deployment automation toolkits and integrate these with wider group IT ecosystem.Develop and operate tools to facilitate effective operations across other disciplines of production service management.Ensure compliance with all relevant internal control standards and external regulatory requirements.Maintain up-to-date understanding of the business practices and system capabilities.

Have technical knowledge and skills in power platform or relevant Low Code/ No Code experience.Continuously upgrading and learning various technologies / applications required for successful project delivery through continuous learning and training.Shouldering responsibility diligently and delivering quality output within the defined schedule and service levels.Consistently providing best approach for project execution.Constantly work towards improving technical / application knowledge capabilities of the teams.Continuously contribute to enhance best practices and to ensure that these are implemented within projects. Also validate that projects are following the coding and design standards and guidelines.Continuously provide valued addition to projects.
