Job Description

Identify opportunities and potential for improvement to help clients in growing their business.

Manage the delivery of high-quality consultancy engagements in Turkey and across the Southern Europe region.

Help to intensify the business relationships between Visa and its key clients in Turkey.

Support VCA Southern Europe Lead to achieve the goals for Turkey as well as to support Turkey Country Manager and Turkish Account Executives with subject expertise areas and overall country strategy.

Manage internal and external project team members.

Assume responsibility for project budgets.

Deliver to annual and longer-term consulting sales and delivery targets with margin & P&L ownership.

What we expect of you, day to day.

Assume account ownership from VCA perspective as the single point of contact with full sales, P&L and margin targets.

Manage the sales and delivery of consulting projects.

Manage teams wrapped around key clients and ensures timely and high-quality execution of projects.

Identify opportunities and improvements to grow the business of our clients.

Actively source new work and sell projects to assigned accounts.

Establish yourself as the trusted advisor of Client executives and Visa Turkey Country Management team.

Support Country Manager and Account Executives in winning new deals with key clients through actively providing strategic guidance, market & client insights and innovative ideas during client deal pitches

Liaise, structure, and deliver bundled projects as one Visa with other functions of Visa Europe. 

Identify process improvements including repeatable and scalable solutions and shares knowledge and expertise with team members as required.

Provide Thought Leadership knowledge and projects regarding the future of payments and retail banking to our clients and partners.

Leverage Visa’s innovation, product, and data capabilities to further grow our clients’ business by working together with the sales and product teams as well as the Visa Innovation and Data Sciences team.

Build and retain Visa Consulting relationships with our key clients.

Support Visa Consulting and Analytics practice development by developing skills, tools, and innovative methodologies on personal and team level.

This is a hybrid position. Employees are expected to work from the office 3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs

 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
•8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least
5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or
2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications
•Previous consulting experience with client facing experience in strategy or
management consulting firms. Experience in the payments business and or
financial services financial technology will be a plus.
•Strong sales orientation, experience selling major projects/ideas to senior
management.
•High intellectual capability evidenced by strong analytical skills
•Self-motivated, results oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous
projects concurrently.
•Knowledge and understanding of banking operations and payment schemes,
including products & services, business systems and processes.
•Commercial Acumen being able to spot an opportunity and drive value for Visa
and the Client.
•Ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders at various levels within the business.
•Excellent presentation and communication skills - written and verbal including
an ability to comprehend and convey complex technical information.
•Prior team management experience, resource training and development
•Knowledge of Visa Products, services, and transaction flows. Curiosity &
willingness to learn and develop as a professional
•Digitally savvy and an understanding of consumer economics behaviors
•High levels of integrity and business ethics
•Excellent spoken and written command of English.
•Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal) including
an ability to comprehend and convey complex technical information.
•Willingness to travel as required.
