**Job Overview**
**Position Schedule:** Full-Time
Edward Jones is seeking an experienced consumer insights professional to join the Experience Insights & Measures area. Experience Insights is responsible for delivering deep understanding of client & branch teams that will drive decision-making to better meet the needs of today and the future, through the development and execution of strategic insight projects. Insights initiatives influence decisions across all areas of the firm - from client experience to brand strategy to product launches to branch best practices. You'll work with leaders across the firm to champion the voice of the client and branches, ensuring decisions and work reflect a client-centric approach.
+ Provide strategic direction and consult with internal stakeholders and partners to define insights needs and create buy-in on research (client, investor, and branch team) work plans
+ Design, lead and execute strategic client insights projects that generate actionable insights to help us better serve our clients and future clients. This role will support large, cross-divisional projects supporting strategic business objectives.
+ Ongoing monitoring of developments within the overall financial services client environment to identify strategic opportunities to pursue.
+ Drive client & branch insights information gathering efforts from primary and secondary sources and assess accuracy, validity and materiality as they relate to the financial services industry
+ Guide business areas through the client & branch insights process to determine the most efficient and effective research designs to their business problems
+ Communicate insights to business partners and influence them to drive action by providing thought leadership on how such insights impact their overall business objectives
+ Evaluate project execution, including establishing and tracking project metrics and conducting project assessment. Provide approval at key milestones, including project design, execution phases, and approval of results.
+ Identify, guide, and partner with external vendors to execute client & branch insights projects, as needed.
+ Understand, analyze and recommend various research methodologies to address firm wide business issues.
+ Analyze, synthesize, curate and interpret marketing research syndicated data and apply critical thinking as to how it might apply to business areas
+ Keep abreast of new developments in consumer insights research techniques.

**Skills/Requirements**
+ MBA, Masters of Marketing Research (MMR), or similar degree
+ 8+ years of consumer insights experience OR 5+ years leadership and consumer insights experience
+ Detailed understanding of both qualitative and quantitative marketing research methodologies and sampling designs; desire to deepen understanding of current and emerging techniques
+ Strong and demonstrated critical thinking, strategic thinking, process improvement, relationship-building and problem-solving abilities
+ Strong writing and communication skills including the ability to present to senior and executive management
