As a Senior Content Designer, you’ll lead with creativity and insight, crafting compelling content that enhances the homeownership journey. Your role goes beyond creation; you’ll mentor budding designers, influence product vision, and shape style guides that standardize content across our digital platforms. Armed with a content-first strategy, you’ll translate complex business needs into intuitive design solutions, present innovative ideas to stakeholders using persuasive storytelling, lead impactful content initiatives, and continuously refine our messaging. About the Role

Write and edit well-informed product content that drives user experience and search engine optimizationParticipate in all stages of the design process, using content-first design strategies and tacticsWork independently on multiple, concurrent projects and provide mentorship to less experienced content designersWork with a delivery team to translate business requirements into design solutionsInfluence product vision with creative solutions that further the product roadmap, tie back to business strategies, and solve both client and business needsCreate style guides and message hierarchies that drive content creation across the client experiencePresent new solutions and recommendations to design partners and stakeholders, using persuasion and effective storytelling to influence product vision and design decisionsAnalyze and test content to identify areas for improvementAudit existing content to identify gapsLead content team-driven projects that promote democratization, standardization and content reuseOffer meaningful writing feedback to other content and product designers

About You

Minimum Qualifications:

Has at least 4 years of relevant experienceDemonstrates strong UX writing skillsApplies generative AI effectively and appropriately to support workflowKnows how to effectively guide users through a digital experience with relevant contentWrites clearly, concisely, and on brandDelivers impactful presentations and knows how to use storytelling to persuadeDemonstrates advanced ability to measure and explain content valueLeads projects and mentors junior content/design team membersDemonstrates advanced ability to recommend and conduct content research and testing

Preferred Qualifications:

Understands SEO best practices for creating content and writing metadataHas experience in the mortgage and/or financial services industryDemonstrates ability to create compelling content strategy deliverables

Colorado, New York City, Jersey City, California, D.C and Washington Candidates Only. The salary range for this position is ninety-seven thousand five hundred dollars to two hundred five thousand five hundred dollars. The position may also be eligible for an annual bonus and other employment-related benefits including, but not limited to, medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401K retirement plan, and paid-time off.  More information regarding these benefits and others can be found here.  The information regarding compensation and other benefits included in this paragraph is only an estimate and is subject to revision from time to time as the Company, in its sole and exclusive discretion, deems appropriate.
