JOB DESCRIPTION: Senior Content Specialist

StreetAccount is a division of FactSet that aggregates, filters, and contextualizes real-time financial market news for institutional investors. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Senior Content Specialist, you will be involved in a range of tasks related to StreetAccount commentary around the reporting of company financials.

These include the collection and review of analyst’s estimates for a range of key metrics for inclusion in earnings preview comments, covering US, Canadian, European and APAC companies on a quarterly, half-yearly and full-year basis.

The U.S. team works between 6am and 7pm ET covering the activity of all U.S. markets; your hours will overlap with either the earlier or later portion of this time range. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors degree in Finance or related experience

6+ years work experience in a market-focused role

Understanding of financial statements and fundamental financial/business metrics across industries

Demonstrated financial writing experiences

Passionate interest in financial markets, as well as an understanding of how company-specific news impacts equities and the broader markets

Excellent reading comprehension and written communication skills

Ability to digest and analyze information quickly
