Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer
Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer. This position will be based at our Sumter, SC facility and does offer relocation assistance. The expected annual salary range for this role is $83250.0 - $122100.0 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. We're looking for a dynamic Continuous Improvement Engineer to lead the charge in deploying the Eaton Lean System (ELSS) and Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF) at our Sumter facility. Join us and be part of a team that is transforming the future. **What You'll Do:** + Lead Kaizen/Rapid Improvement Events: Spearhead impactful improvement events to enhance processes at our Sumter facility. + Drive Process Improvements: Utilize ELSS and CIF tools to identify and implement process enhancements. + Develop Long-Term CI Roadmap: Collaborate on creating and deploying a comprehensive continuous improvement roadmap for the facility. + Train and Mentor: Act as the go-to expert on ELSS and CIF tools, training and mentoring others to build a culture of continuous improvement. + Conduct ELSS Assessments: Assist with ELSS assessments to ensure we are meeting our high standards. + Lead Cost-Out Projects: Drive cost-saving initiatives and activities to improve efficiency. + Support Operational Excellence: Contribute to other areas of Operational Excellence, including EHS and EQMS, as needed. **What We Offer:** + A collaborative and innovative work environment + Opportunities for professional growth and development + The chance to make a tangible impact on our operations and success + If you're ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role where your contributions will be valued and your potential realized, apply today and join us in making what matters work! **Qualifications:** **Basic Qualifications:** • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution • Minimum of 1 years of manufacturing / continuous improvement experience • Must be able to work in the U.S on a continuous basis without company sponsorship now or in the future **Preferred Qualifications:** • Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering from and accredited institution • 3 years manufacturing / Continuous improvement experience • Six Sigma Greenbelt Certification • Continuous Improvement (CI) Certifications **Skills:** **Position Criteria:** • Effective communication skills (written, verbal, computer) required • Demonstrated proficiency with basic manufacturing tools such as Lean, Six-Sigma, problem solving/decision making • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, PowerBI, etc.) • Ability to lead and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support customer and manufacturing requirements We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
