Senior Contract Administrator

We have an opportunity for a Senior Contract Administrator to join our team at Ventia within the Rig and Well Services Team, based out of our Perth office. 


Key Duties and Responsibilities:
 

Providing commercial leadership and advice to project team members on site issues, events and other contractual matters. Drafting, reviewing and negotiating construction contracts and associated legal documentation Monitoring contract performance and compliance, identifying and resolving any issues in a timely manner Monitoring contract performance and compliance, identifying and resolving any issues in a timely manner Draft formal correspondence and prepare Head Contract Variation Claims Manage contractual registers and progress minor disputes to achieve beneficial outcomes Manage cost and contractual matters to ensure project costs, revenues, claims, variations, and agreements are properly managed. Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients. Maintain a comprehensive working knowledge of head contracts.

 
About You: 
 

Minimum 7+ years’ experience working for a main contractor in a commercial/contracts role, ideally with experience in Oil/Gas/Mining sector Proven track-record managing contracts, negotiating terms, and ensuring compliance. Understanding of legal and commercial issues surrounding construction contracts. Proven ability managing procurement and tender processes. High-level financial knowledge to manage budgets and monitor costs.
