Our Strategic Sourcing Team is in search of a Senior Contract Management Representative to work out of our home office in downtown Cincinnati, OH. This position will operate on a hybrid schedule. Qualified remote applicants could also be considered.
Essential Job Functions and ResponsibilitiesServes as a liaison with Corporate legal staff.Participates in developing and enforcing enterprise standardsFunctions as an intermediary between suppliers and Corporate Legal to negotiate contract language and/or terms.Supports Strategic Sourcing and Program staff in preparing and verifying contracts and associated language and paperwork for complex contract packages.Participates in developing contract language to meet business, regulatory, and legal requirements.Verifies contracts meet corporate standards.Reviews bids for conformity to contract requirements and may participate in determining acceptable bids.Participates in and may conduct risk assessment surveys with new suppliers as appropriate. Participates in resolving supplier licensing issues.Receives, researches, and responds to internal and external customers’ inquiries. Prepares moderately complex to complex contractual provisions.Negotiates amendments.Participates in the administration of contracts and ensuring fulfillment of contract requirements. Participates in resolving supplier performance issues.May participate in determining customer satisfaction with services or products.Develops and maintains necessary records and files. Retrieves contract documents as needed.Provides back-up for and performs the work of Strategic Sourcing staff for contractually complex or high-risk sourcing projects.Provides training to other staff on legal and contractual topics. May participate in developing curriculum.Provides technical advice to lower level positions and other functional areas.May have responsibility for performance and coaching of staff and may have a participatory role in decisions regarding talent selection, development, and performance management for direct reports.Demonstrates advanced knowledge of contract administration, Strategic Sourcing, and related company policies and/or legal requirements. Remains current on changing business needs, potential issues and/or new requirements. Researches new trends or advancements in Legal precedents in order to mitigate risk and protect corporate assets.Performs other duties as assigned.Job RequirementsEducation: Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school or equivalent. Field of Study: Law or related discipline.Experience: Generally, 3 to 6 years of related experience. Experience with drafting and reviewing contract language is highly preferred.Business Unit:
